What Ovaro Does
Ovaro provides digital tools designed to help users manage business administration. These tools include invoicing, estimates and receipts, expense tracking, financial reports and summaries, AI-assisted document creation using voice and text inputs, and payment features through third-party providers such as Stripe.
Ovaro provides organisational and preparation tools only. We do not submit information to HMRC and we do not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice.
What Ovaro Does Not Do
Ovaro is not a bank or payment institution. The platform does not replace the services of an accountant, tax advisor, or legal professional. Ovaro does not guarantee that your use of the platform will ensure compliance with tax or legal obligations, and we do not submit any filings to HMRC on your behalf. You remain fully responsible for meeting your own legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Eligibility
To use Ovaro, you must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to act on your own behalf or on behalf of your business. You agree to use Ovaro only for lawful purposes.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all data entered into Ovaro. You must review all AI-generated outputs before use and ensure that invoices, expenses, and records comply with applicable laws and regulations. You are also responsible for maintaining your own backups where required.
AI Features
Ovaro's AI features are designed to assist with productivity and efficiency. However, users must verify all AI-generated outputs before use. Ovaro is not responsible for any inaccuracies or omissions in AI-generated content.
Subscriptions and Billing
Ovaro is offered on a subscription basis. The Basic Plan is priced at £3.99 per month and the Premium Plan at £6.99 per month. A First invoice free is available.
Payment details may be collected when you choose a paid plan. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings in the app or on the website. Alternatively, you can contact our support team at support@ovaro.io for assistance.
Fees and Payments
Subscription fees are paid directly to Ovaro. If you choose to connect Stripe for payment processing, additional fees may apply, including Stripe processing fees and any applicable Ovaro service fees. Ovaro is not responsible for third-party payment services or the fees they charge.
Refunds
Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. Refunds may be offered at Ovaro's discretion where required by law.
Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or where required by law. You may delete your account at any time through the app.
Data Retention After Deletion
After you delete your account, personal data will be deleted or anonymised where possible. However, certain records may be retained for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes for up to six years.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ovaro is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid to Ovaro in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Banking Services
Banking connections. Ovaro may allow users to connect supported bank accounts through third-party banking providers. Banking features are provided for bookkeeping, transaction import, reconciliation assistance and expense management.
No financial advice. Ovaro does not provide financial, tax, accounting or investment advice. Users remain solely responsible for reviewing imported transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
Accuracy of imported data. While Ovaro attempts to provide accurate transaction imports and reconciliation suggestions, imported data may contain errors or delays, and automated matches may be inaccurate. Users must verify all records before relying on them. Ovaro is not responsible for banking data inaccuracies, incorrect categorisation, missed transactions or reconciliation errors.
Third-party services. Banking connections depend on third-party providers and financial institutions. Ovaro does not guarantee uninterrupted connectivity, availability of specific banks, continuous transaction syncing or permanent compatibility. Features may change or become unavailable without notice due to third-party provider or regulatory changes.
User responsibilities. You agree to use banking features lawfully, to connect only accounts you are authorised to access, to maintain accurate information, and to review imported transactions before filing taxes or making financial decisions.
Suspension or removal. Ovaro may suspend or remove banking access if fraudulent activity is suspected, required regulatory obligations are not met, third-party providers revoke access, or misuse is detected.
